The Ford Maverick is a compact pickup truck that’s versatile, comfortable, spacious, and packed with technology. There are three trim levels available for the 2023 Ford Maverick, the XL, XLT, and the Lariat, and a variety of options to suit every need. As your Ford dealer, we want to tell you more about what’s available with each trim.

From Your Ford Dealer: Trim Levels of the 2023 Ford Maverick

Common Trim Features

The standard  XL, XLT, and Lariat are all powered by 2.5L hybrid engines paired with automatic continuously variable transmissions. All three trims come standard with FWD. This fuel-efficient combination will get you 33mpg in the city and 40 mpg on the highway.

XL Trim

The XL offers the option to install a 2.0 EcoBoost engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission. You can also choose an AWD drivetrain if you want more off-road capability. Exterior features include a black mesh grille with black surround, 17″ steel wheels, 6-bed tie-downs, and 2 12v pre-wired electrical leads.

The interior has seating for five, with a manual six-way adjustable driver’s seat, and manual four-way adjustable passenger seats. A manual single-zone AC is standard, as is an 8″ LCD touchscreen center stack and a 4.2″ instrument cluster screen. An AM/FM radio with six speakers, Bluetooth capability, and two USB ports are pre-installed. Optional items include the Ford Co-Pilot 360 and a 4k tow pack compatible with the 2.0L EcoBoost engine.

XLT Trim

The XLT offers the same engine, transmission, and drivetrain options as the XL. The XLT sits on 17″ carbonized gray-painted aluminum wheels, which you can upgrade to 17″ or 18″ machine-faced. The grille bar changes to gray, 10-bed tie-downs are standard, and you can add extra features like a 4-or7-pin trailer hitch, a bed extender, or a bed tray liner.

Standard interior seating is identical to the XL, with the addition of a unique cloth covering. Options include heated seats, an eight-way power adjustable driver’s seat, and a six-way, manual-powered front passenger seat.

Lariat Trim

A 6.5″ instrument cluster replaces the standard 4.2″ version in the previous trims. The AC system features dual-zone automatic temperature control, the steering wheel is leather-wrapped, and dual rear USB ports are installed. Optional extras include a heated steering wheel, a power tilt/slide moonroof, and a remote start system.

Exterior options include exposed front tow hooks, a spray-in bedliner or hard drop-in bedliner, LED box lighting, black headlamps, and tail lamps, and heated glass mirrors.

Each trim also offers a range of options to customize your Maverick. Dealer-installed options include tailgate locks, a bed divider kit, bed cross bars, and a bet net kit. Take a test drive today at Bob Thomas Ford and discover for yourself why the Maverick is so popular.
