New for 2025, you can pair the 2.5L hybrid engine with the available All-Wheel Drive system on Maverick® XL, XLT, and Lariat® models. Take on rainy city streets, or discover winding country roads with a trailer in tow — it’s up to you. The standard 2.5L Hybrid Engine delivers 191 horsepower and 155 lb.-ft. of torque, with available AWD to help you take on gridlock — or get as far from it as you can. The available gas 2.0L EcoBoost® Engine offers 250 horsepower and 275 lb.-ft. of torque. It’s ideal for those times you need to tow a heavy load up a steep grade** or head off-road to a remote campsite. Select Maverick® models are rated to haul up to 1,500 lbs. of payload. Bring a couch, a lawnmower, or a dirtbike — not to mention a few friends — along for the ride. Tow up to 4,000 lbs. with the available 4K Tow Package. Added features include a Trailer Hitch (Class III) 2-Inch Receiver with 4-Pin and 7-Pin Connector, Trailer Brake Controller, upgraded cooling fan, and (on EcoBoost®-equipped models) a higher capacity radiator. Flat-Tow Capability - models with the hybrid engine can also be towed with all four wheels down, so you can bring your vehicle with you behind a properly equipped motorhome.

Up to five people can ride in style. Some models even include available ActiveX™-trimmed seats for the ultimate in comfort. Bring the outside in. The moonroof, available on select models, comes equipped with sunbeams, stars, and fresh air. The cargo bed can hold a lot. But there’s storage under the rear seat if you need more space — or if you just prefer to keep your snack packs or sports gear inside the cab. Clever use of space means you can find storage throughout Maverick®. There’s even a a custom-designed door pocket sized just right for a 1.5L water bottle.

The 2025 Maverick® pickup cargo bed offers 33.3 cu. ft. of space inside the sidewalls and tailgate—enough for more than a yard or 16 standard bags of mulch. Of course, there’s more room above that—just be sure to tie your load securely. For easier loading and unloading, every model features a bed floor no higher than 30.4 inches with the Multi-Position Tailgate lowered. That’s lower than a standard kitchen countertop. It’s 54.4 inches from the cab rear wall to the tailgate. You can add more with the available Bed Extender accessory, or lock the Multi-Position Tailgate in line with the wheel wells for a flat loading surface and secure attachment points. From sidewall to sidewall, the bed measures 53.3 inches — more than a standard sheet of plywood. And with 42.6 inches of space at the wheel wells, there’s enough room for the most common size of riding lawn mower. The two standard pre-wired 12-volt connections can keep a mini-fridge or other essentials humming. Meanwhile, an available 400-watt, 110-volt outlet let you charge your devices or power a drill or air pump. SYNC® provides hands-free connectivity to your compatible phone — including wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. Improve visibility while you’re backing up. The available bird’s-eye view can help you avoid obstacles and keep nearby pedestrians in sight. Don’t worry about draining your compatible smartphone’s battery. Just drop your device on the available Wireless Charging Pad and add power as you drive.
